InGrid Add-Ons
Door/Window/Cabinet Sensors
Door/window sensors, also known as open/close sensors, are designed to detect the opening of a window, door or cabinet. These sensors are the most common component of any security system, typically used on exterior doors and windows.
InGrid's sensors can be used for non-emergency alerting on firearm, medicine, or liquor cabinets. The sensors can trigger an email or MyInGrid event indicating that something has moved or opened.

Water Detector Sensors
If your washing machine or water heater broke and leaked water, it could cause extensive damage to your home. InGrid home security systems can monitor for the presence of water and send you a text message or have the monitoring center call you if a problem occurs.
Temperature Detector Sensors
If you have a vacation home that is frequently vacant, there would likely be damage if the heating system failed and the temperature dropped below freezing. InGrid can monitor for freezing or hot conditions. Similar to InGrid's water detector, you can be sent a text message or receive a phone call if a problem has been reported. Like every InGrid component, since it is wireless, you don't have to worry about time consuming installation.
NOTE: The thermometer shown is not part of the Temperature Sensor, and not included.

Motion Detector Sensors
A motion sensor is typically used in large areas or as a second line of defense against burglars - the best defense against burglars is placing sensors on all accessible doors and windows.
Motion sensors can also be used to trigger snapshots or video with InGrid HomeView cameras and the Advanced Camera Service.
Glass Break Detector Sensors
If you have a large picture window or sliding glass door, a burglar could break it and climb through without opening the door or window and tripping the sensor. A glass break sensor is designed to detect the sound of breaking glass.

Cameras
Unlike other web cameras that require a PhD in computers to set up, InGrid's HomeView Camera plugs in and works in a snap. Go to your personalized MyInGrid web page from any computer and you can view in-home events as well as capture snapshots and/or video clips in response to trigger events. You can program specific events, take snapshots, or even store images online to view later.

Powerline Adaptors
Designed for use with the HomeView Camera, the Powerline Adapter allows you to install a camera in areas of your home where hi-speed Internet connectivity is not available. Two Powerline Adapters are needed for your first camera - one to connect to your router and the second to connect to your camera. Only one additional Powerline Adapter is needed for each subsequent camera you install.
